72 guests, among them a global security lead Gordon Morrison, attended the MIT (IC)3 Annual Conference to share the latest insights into the industry. Educational programs manager Christel Gampig-Avila represented Kaspersky Academy who sponsors the Consortium as a Founding Member since November 2015.
Headquartered in the MIT Sloan School of Management, the Interdisciplinary Consortium for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity, or (IC)3 intends to address the important need to improve the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure through an interdisciplinary research approach focused on the strategic, managerial, and operational issues related to cybersecurity. (IC)3 brings together thought leaders from industry and government with MIT faculty, researchers and students, conducting research in multiple relevant areas. The Consortium conducts a variety of meetings, workshops, conferences and educational activities, and produces research reports, which can be then used to further improve cybersecurity of critical infrastructure.
The next MIT-(IC)³ Workshop takes place 28th September, 2016. You can learn more about (IC)3 research and join the Consortium to contribute at http://ic3.mit.edu.
